2009 Youth Football Pre-Season Jamboree |
Youth Football Pre-Season Jamboree Introduction
The Youth Football Pre-Season Jamboree is designed to give participating teams an opportunity to prepare for their upcoming regular season against teams they would not play during regular season league play. The whole idea behind the Pre-Season Jamboree is to create a exciting and fun atomosphere for the players and program fan base.
The Jamboree concept exists to get your teams ready for your upcoming regular season schedule, and opens the door for you to test your teams ability against local, in-state and out-of-state youth programs. It also allows your coaches and team/league adminstrators to build relationships with other leagues and teams for the common good of our youth participants, and youth football.
Pre-Season Jamboree Format
Participating teams will play in two 60 minute scrimmages on the same day at a local high school staduim facility to be announced. The ball will be placed on the 40 yard line, and each team will have 25 minutes to run your offense, and 25 minutes to run your defense.
Their will be certified Michigan High School Athletic Association referees runing each official scrimmage, and both games will be on the same day as stated above.
