Welcome to the Youth Sports Alliance!



The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is a 100% community youth based not-for-profit organization, whose sole mission is to provide quality youth sports programming, for inner city and area youth within the urban and surrounding suburban communities of the City of Grand Rapids. The YSA was created to keep our inner city and area youth ages 7-14 busy, during key downtime hours when our community youth are in arms way to find trouble. Our mission is to provide quality recreation and skill development in youth sports, for all area youth ages 6-14 abroad.

2010 Youth Sports Alliance Tackle Football Programs Information
The YSA tackle football program exists to lead our community youth boys and girls ages 6 to 14, down the correct path to developing skills, fundamentals and discipline in of young athletes and the adults who guide them. YSA Youth Football programs help participants enjoy the experience every time they step on a field.
Registration Fee: $70
2010 78ers Tackle Football Program (Seniors)
The 78'ers Football program is for boys in grades 7th and 8th ages 12-14.
2010 56ers Tackle Football Program (Juniors)
The 56'ers Football program is for boys in grades 5th and 6th ages 10-11.
2010 8-9 Tackle Football Program (Novice)
The 8-9 Football program is for boys in grades ages 8-9.
2010 Young 6 & 7s Tackle Football Program (Pee Wee/Developmental)
The Young 6 & 7s Football program is for boys in grades ages 6-7. Our Young 6 & 7s developmental tackle football program was created to develop and teach the little guys the basic skills and fundamentals of tackle youth football, and prepare them for the physical and mental rigors that come with the game football. Emphasis will be put on developing the young players so they can progress and climb the ladder to 8-9 tackle football.

Youth Sports Alliance Equipment & Jerseys Turn-In
The YSA and all team coaches will be administering the equipment and jerseys return process this week. Parents will need to get with their team coach or contact the YSA this week and complete the turn-in process as soon as possible following your last game. Teams that will be advancing to the tournament have permission to keep the equipment and jerseys until you complete the tournament.
Each parent signed the Parent's Code of Conduct which includes equipment rules #4 and #5 as stated:
4. I will respect the property and equipment used and return all YSA Group equipment and uniforms at the end of the season.
5. I understand that if I fail to return YSA group equipment and uniforms, I will be charged a $200.00 replacement fee plus court fees, recovered through due process of the law system.
