We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today!

Welcome to the Official Home of the Youth Sports Alliance!

The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA)

is a
100% community youth based not-for-profit organization, whose sole mission is to provide quality youth sports programming, for inner city and area youth within the urban and surrounding suburban communities of the City of Grand Rapids. The YSA was created to keep our inner city and area youth ages 7-14 busy, during key downtime hours when our community youth are in arms way to find trouble.

Using sports as the “hook”, to motivate and teach our community youth the steps to excel in academics and achieve their highest level of self fulfillment and personal development, in terms of physical, social, moral and spiritual aspects of life.

The YSA is powered by a consortium of caring parents and community volunteers from all walks of life, who have made the commitment to step to the plate and assist in restructuring and improving youth sports and recreation opportunities, for our community youth of the City of Grand Rapids.

Football Skills & Conditioning Camp Begins July 11th!!!!

Our preseason youth football camp series is designed to teach and prepare youth football players experienced and new, the proper techniques and skills, in conjunction with preparing them for the physical rigors of the game of football. Camps and clinics will be coached by experienced YSA youth team coaches and special guest area high school and college coaches.

The cost is $25.00 per child which includes a camp t-shirt and entry to all seven camps. Any child registered to play youth football in one of our team programs will pay a registration fee of $12.00.

We encourage all youth student athlete ages 7-14 to attend all or as many camps as possible, especially for those players who will be playing youth football this upcoming season for any of the YSA programs. We also encourage any child from any team or area to join in the fun.
